Baoase Resort - Beachfront Pool Suites
What started as a piece of land on the beach in a residential area of Curacao, quickly became inspiration for Ad van der Valk and his partner Bibi in the creation of an ultra private Baoase Resort in the heart of the Caribbean. The result was a labor of love... literally building their lagoon and each villa with painstaking detail.
They started with their own Master Villa, and then created 5 Private Pool Villas; one for each of Ad's children. From there, the dream continued and Baoase Resort opened its doors in 2009 offering 23 rooms, suites and villas.
There is a category that will fit everyone's needs here and there is talk of expansion to offer 8 more beachfront villas in the coming years.

When we speak of barefoot luxury, we mean it! They ask that shoes are left at the door to preserve the stunning floors
Can't decide between an outdoor shower, plunge pool, or tub? Neither could I!
I could have stayed here for a week... and that's rare... I like to move from one resort to another after 2 days max normally. This one had me from the moment I walked through the private (non-discreet) gate. People have no idea what lies behind; it's magical.
I loved the outdoor dining space and found myself working (only for a few minutes each morning) out there.
The décor in these suites is stunning, the side lamps that match the chandelier hanging over the bed were my favorite detail.
