When I first stepped onto the beach at Sandals St. Vincent, I immediately understood who this resort is for. This adults-only, all-inclusive feels different. It’s quieter. More private. The mountains wrap around the property, the water is calm, and there’s none of that busy, high-rise Caribbean energy.
I love the suite options here, especially the swim-ups and private pool villas. And because everything is included, from gourmet dining to scuba diving and sailing, my clients can truly unplug without sacrificing experience. I LOVED Sandals St. Vincent. It’s stunning, peaceful, and surrounded by mountains that make it feel unlike anywhere else in the Caribbean. The resort is beautifully designed and quickly became one of my top three Sandals properties, right behind Curaçao and Grenada! Here are some of my insider tips:
The Vibe – Expect a relaxed, scenic atmosphere with a good mix of quiet time and social energy. The Rum Bar comes alive in the evenings with music and dancing, while the rest of the resort keeps that easygoing “hidden gem” feel.
Dining Highlights – Gatsu Gatsu was my absolute favorite restaurant! The food and service were flawless, and the atmosphere was fantastic. Butch’s Island Chop House is another must, but make your reservation as soon as you arrive since it fills up quickly.
Service – Overall, the resort is gorgeous and well-run, but I did find the service a little inconsistent outside of Gatsu Gatsu. It wasn’t enough to take away from the experience, but it’s something I hope improves as the resort settles in.
Tips for Your Stay -
• The drive from the airport is about 45 minutes to an hour and can get windy. If you get motion sick, sit near the front of the shuttle.
• You can pre-book one restaurant through the Sandals app up to 30 days before arrival. If you forget, concierge can help once you check in.
• Lounge chairs by the main pool go quickly. Grab one by 9 a.m. for the best spots.
• The infinity pool near the beach is beautiful but limited. Butler guests usually have first pick.
• The gluten-free cheesecake at Blum is amazing, even if you’re not gluten-free.
• Entertainment here is excellent. The live music and dancing at night were some of the best I’ve seen at any Sandals!
• Don’t forget about the free daily snorkeling excursion at 2 p.m. Spots fill up fast, so sign up early!
• Pack light fabrics. The humidity is real, especially in the rooms!
