FOOD & DRINKS: WAY MORE THAN A BUFFET

Beaches is known for its dining, and for good reason. At Beaches Turks & Caicos, you're looking at up to 21 restaurants covering everything from French cuisine to sushi to a wood-fired steakhouse. Not a single one requires a reservation fee or dining surcharge.Premium liquors are included too, not just the house brands. Think top-shelf spirits, frozen cocktails, wine, beer, and specialty drinks around the clock. The swim-up bars, pool bars, and lobby bars are all included, and your in-room minibar is stocked and replenished daily.

WATERSPORTS: SCUBA DIVING IS IN THERE!

This is the one that genuinely surprises people. Certified scuba divers can dive every single day of their stay at no extra charge. There is a dive shop right on the resort, boat dives go out daily, and tanks and equipment are all included. That alone can save hundreds per person compared to a typical resort.

For those who've never dived before, Beaches offers a resort course to get you underwater during your stay. Kids have their own dedicated scuba programs as well.

Also included: kayaks, paddleboarding, windsurfing, snorkeling gear, hobie cats, and waterskiing.

KIDS CAMP: ACTUALLY STAFFED BY CERTIFIED NANNIES

The Beaches kids program is not an afterthought. Every staff member in the camp is a member of the International Nanny Association with a minimum of 2,000 hours of childcare experience. Programs run from infants all the way through teens, each with age-appropriate activities.Toddlers get their own pool. Tweens get a pizza and soda bar and organized sports. Teens have their own space with karaoke, water sports, and beach activities. Date nights are absolutely possible here.

SESAME STREET: A BIG DEAL FOR LITTLE ONES

Beaches is the only resort brand in the world with a licensing partnership with Sesame Street. Character meet-and-greets are woven into daily resort life at no charge. Street parades, show performances, and poolside appearances with Elmo, Cookie Monster, and the crew happen regularly throughout the day.

If you want a more private experience like a character breakfast, a tuck-in for bedtime, or an all-access photo shoot, those are available for an additional fee through the Sesame Street VIP Packages. Totally worth it if you have little ones!

BUTLER SERVICE: IT'S INCLUDED IN CERTAIN ROOMS

This is a detail a lot of families miss. If you book a Butler-level suite, you get a dedicated personal butler for your entire stay. They'll unpack your bags, handle dinner reservations, have your beach chairs set up before you wake up, and take care of just about anything you can think of. THE WATERPARK: YES, THAT TOO

Pirates Island Waterpark is fully included. Multiple water slides, a lazy river, a splash deck, and a kids' swim-up bar. It's a full waterpark sitting right on the resort. No wristbands to buy, no day passes. Just show up and enjoy!

None of these are required to have an incredible vacation, but they are popular add-ons if you want to splurge.
