Priding themselves on everything local, it’s no surprise that the ingredients are locally sourced and super fresh! With only 5 restaurants, this resort is picking quality over quantity, and highlights Mexican cuisine on top of the other international dishes offered.

andrea’s takeaways

  • he App, The App, The App - This one is actually useful! You can pre-book restaurant reservations (which is rare for an all-inclusive) 30 days in advance and even request your favorite type of pillow.

  • There are hats left in every room. Make sure to get in line early (only on certain days of the week) to have your hat customized! Put your name on it, a small design, or a phrase. It's such a cool touch... be sure to tip the painter, but otherwise, it's a "freebie"!

  • In-Room Mixology - I love that you can request this ahead of time in the app. Each day, ingredients will be left in your room to mix/make your own cocktail. A recipe card is included!

  • Did someone say churros?? Order them through room service as a treat at the end of the night!

  • The Bridge - I feel like you have to get the Instagram famous picture of the bridge that takes you to the beach.  You will see it all over social!

  • Local Hosts - Each room has a local host (aka butler/concierge) assigned. Your host will periodically check up on you and help with reservations and excursions. You'll also choose a scent for your room; ask them to prepare your tub on the balcony with bubbles and champagne. Once you try it, you might end up asking for it every night!

  • The Lobby - There is something about the styling at this resort that I find so appealing. It feels like you are in a boutique high end hotel... especially in the lobby bar. I love it.

  • The Food - I'm pretty much obsessed with most of the food here. It's hard to find really good food at an all-inclusive resort and I have been so happy with everything here. From the pool menu, room service to restaurants, they serve delicious options consistently. I've been a few times and I really love the options and quality!

  • Pool Vibes - If you want a good beach, look elsewhere. But, if you are into pools with swim-up bars then this resort has a great vibe! There are a few different pools and lots of activity during the day around them. PS. You need to be early risers as the lounge chairs go quickly! Get there super early your first day, make friends with the pool server and tip well!

Custom hat painting!
