Explore Anguilla

The 35-square mile British West Indies island of Anguilla, which is about half the size of Brooklyn, promises some of the Caribbean’s best beaches, food and hotels. People frequently overlook Anguilla for its buzzier Caribbean counterparts, but that's all changing thanks to daily flights into the nearby island of St. Maarten and San Juan, luxury hotel renovations, and over 100 delectable restaurants!

WHERE IS ANGUILLA LOCATED?

Anguilla is part of the Leeward Islands or the group of islands in the northern part of the Lesser Antilles.

Located just north of St. Maarten and east of Puerto Rico, there are no direct flights to Anguilla from any major US or European cities. To get to Anguilla, you will have to fly to St. Maarten or to San Juan, Puerto Rico. From St. Maarten you can take the ferry to Anguilla or if you prefer to travel via Puerto Rico you can take a short flight from San Juan to Anguilla.

WEATHER IN ANGUILLA

Anguilla has the best weather in the Caribbean, and it's one of the sunniest islands. Even during “rainy season” (September to October), it’s mostly sunny! You will often see intense rainstorms out to sea, even over St. Martin, yet, when it comes to Anguilla... nothing but wide, sweeping, crystal, clear views. Classic Anguilla weather!
