Beaches Turks and Caicos

I honestly don't even know where to start...I am STILL talking about this resort!! Before I begin, I am going to say hands down, you have got to let me help you get your family (or you and your significant other) to Beaches Turks and Caicos. It is the all-inclusive resort I'll compare all others to.

The best part - Beaches Turks and Caicos is located on Providenciales island on Grace Bay Beach, which was ranked World’s #1 Best Beach by TripAdvisor Travelers!

Take Me There

It's not easy to get here non-stop, but I promise you, it's worth the layovers. There are a couple of airports along the East Coast that offer non-stops flights to Providenciales island in Turks and Caicos so hopefully yours is one of them. The resort is approximately 20 minutes from the airport. Clear immigration and customs and off you go!

So who does this resort cater to? Everyone!! It's a family property, but it's a big one so I'd send couples here in a heartbeat. There are plenty of quiet spots throughout the property and an adults only pool. This is the place to go to for milestone celebrations (special anniversary or birthday, retirement, honeymoon, family reunion, friends escape.... really any excuse you can come up with).

Resort Overview

The resort is expansive. Set along Grace Bay Beach, with clear turquoise waters, the resort has 5 "villages", a 45,000 square foot water park, 10 pools, 21 gourmet restaurants, 15 bars, 2 award-winning Red Lane Spas, and their Kids Camp for ages 0-17.

Each village has their own lobby, pools, architectural style and room categories. The rooms, pools and restaurants are strategically spaced out throughout the resort. It may take a few days to discover all of it which is part of the fun.  Don't worry about spending a week and not having enough to do! My favorites villages are the Italian and Key West villages. Both are located close to the beach and are the newest additions to the resort.

Check out my aerial overview video of the Key West Village.

Take My Breath Away

I know I have many more places to visit and do recognize that there is beauty in just about any location that involves sand & water.  I have to say though, for me, this resort is natural perfection. There were images all around like what you'd see on a postcard (postcard pretty as I refer to it).  I took a catamaran excursion to an uninhabited island and experienced a beach like nothing I've ever stepped foot on. I am very thankful to know (and feel) that I was standing in a spot that most would consider paradise.

Please, let me help you get here. These places are expensive...I'm not going to pretend that it's a bargain destination. However, it is worth it for the memories and feelings you will leave there with.  You are not buying a vacation, you are creating an experience!

Remember, the most beautiful spots are usually the ones that aren't easy to get to. Make a commitment to go somewhere new and try something different.

With that, I’ll leave you with a video of one of Beaches’ famous bartenders - Bishop. :-)

Cheers to all things travel!
