Most Adventurous Experience

Our advisors love to travel and see new places, but they also aren’t afraid to do something out of the ordinary! This month we asked our team, “What’s the most adventurous thing you have done while traveling?”.

Andrea Norfolk

Exumas, Bahamas

“This is an easy one for me; swimming with nurse sharks in the Exumas (Bahamas)! I can't say swimming with sharks was on my bucket list, but I saw pictures of others doing it in the Exumas and I wanted to replicate it. Frankly, now that I've done it, once is enough! I was beyond nervous but I was determined to get pictures with them.”

Anjli Patel

Costa Rica

“I've done so many adventurous things because I'm willing to try anything! I've gone skydiving, zip lining, white water rafting, bungee jumping and swimming with sharks. So when we decided to go to Costa Rica, I thought why not try canyon repelling! It was an incredible ride, especially as I was weaving in and out of the waterfall! I landed in a pool of water feeling exhilarated at having tried something new! I can't wait for my next adventure!”

Jo North

St. Lucia

“The most adventurous thing I have done on vacation was to book a private helicopter ride and tour of St. Lucia. It was awesome! Our resort we stayed at was beautiful, but a good distance from the airport. We decided to charter this helicopter to take us on a scenic tour and then deliver us to the airport for our flight home. A great solution to wanting to see even more of the island as well as avoid a long transfer!”

Ellen Nestorick

Interlaken, Switzerland

“I spent a summer backpacking Europe and planned to spend one night in Interlaken, Switzerland. After arriving, we quickly realized how amazing Interlaken was and ended up staying there for four days. During our time there, we went white water rafting, hiking to see a glacier, and canyoning through the forests. Canyoning was like nothing I had ever done before and it was an incredible experience..”
